Seasonality is a feature, not a bug — if you use it correctly. The operators who do best in highly seasonal trades are the ones who run demand-capture campaigns during peak search season and demand-generation campaigns in the off-season to build the pipeline before the rush hits.

For example: a deck builder should be running targeted ads and collecting leads from January through April, so by May 1 their build schedule is full for the summer. Most deck builders start marketing in May and compete for the scraps left by the operators who started earlier. Same principle applies to pools, concrete, fencing — any warm-weather trade.

A property manager looking for a fencing company for 15 commercial properties is evaluating multiple options, wants credentials and insurance certificates, and will take 2-4 weeks to decide.
